So I just heard about the 90 Miles in March challenge…
and I am totally up for it!
I got a three mile walk in today, and I didn’t die. Now I just need to do that every day in March (with one “free” day if necessary).
Here’s to hoping!

Reblog if you don’t drink soda.
I feel like I am the only one who omits soda.
5th week without it!
No soda since March 12, 2009.

I’ve decided.
I’m going to set the goal of getting down to 225lbs by my birthday.
It’s in the middle of April.
That’s an okay goal…right?
First “real” day
Woo! I think I did well today.
Well, okay for a beginner, I guess.
I had some leftover chicken and veggies today for lunch and had the tastiest grilled chicken salad everrrr. I love salad so much. I only have romaine and iceberg lettuce in my fridge though. I may go grab some spinach this weekend for some more variety. I’ll grab some almonds too if their price went down. The bag I usually get was up to nine dollars last week on “sale.” It’s usually five bucks.
Uhhh, no thanks.
I’m too poor for that, kthxbai.
Oh, oh. I also did aerobics for thirty-five minutes today. :D Yeah, not much, buuut it’s an okay start, I think. It’ll be better tomorrow when I can do that and my walk on top of it. There are tons of crosswalks here and it’s reeeeally dangerous to try to cross the street when it’s pouring down rain. Drivers here don’t give two shits about pedestrians when it’s raining for some reason. I was almost hit twice today trying to run to class.
Let it be also noted that I am really craving some dried cranberries, but I used the last of them in my yogurt yesterdayyy. *whineeee*
Had breakfast this morning!
Ha, as trivial as that may seem, that’s actually saying something for me. :) I usually feel sick when I eat early in the morning and then really tired by noon because I didn’t eat anything and have no energy. However, today I forced a cup of orange juice and some store brand Grape Nuts down my throat right before rushing out to class. I didn’t feel so great for a while, but hopefully if I get used to eating breakfast, I won’t get sick from it anymore. So many habits to change… it’ll be worth it though. :)

Never go on crazy diets, they are the worst thing you can do to your metabolism. They throw your body into chaos, demoralize you when they don’t give you what they promised and lower your self esteem. You owe it to yourself to eat healthy, excise and stress less about diets. Live by the 80/20 rule. That means be good 80% of the time and 20% of the time be a little naughty. Your body will thank you, you’ll naturally be healthier and you’ll be less stressed and more confident.
